For existing modules and themes, you will need to go to your product page and follow the payment instructions to pay the annual fee. Each addon has its own annual fee, you will have to repeat the steps as many times as you have modules and themes you’d like to sell on the marketplace.

For your new addons

For the addons you don’t want to sell anymore, you can delete them from the Product page in the “Manage product Visibility” section.

How do I ensure my fee is paid annually?

Once you paid for your addon, it is automatically paid for a period of 12 months and is automatically renewed for the same period in the absence of cancellation.

Can I opt out of the annual fee and still sell on the PrestaShop Marketplace?

What happens if I decide to cancel my payment during the year?

Your addon will be deactivated : the addon will not be sold anymore on our marketplace. At the end of the year, starting the day after your submission, your addon will be definitely removed. Why is this an annual recurring fee instead of a one time payment ?

At PrestaShop we consider that modules should be updated at least once a year. These regular updates ensure compliance, reliability, and compatibility with the latest PrestaShop version. No, the revenue share model remains unchanged. The revenue sharing model funds hosting, marketplace platform maintenance and support. The annual fee is a separate charge to cover the costs of a dedicated team and specialized tools to reduce your validation time and improve the quality checks for the modules and themes you submit.

Can I get my money back from sales of a module if I decide not to proceed to the annual fee payment ?

If you choose not to pay the annual fees for your addons and quit our Marketplace, you can withdraw your money in the period of 3 months after deactivation of your addon.
