If you have recently associated URLs with your PrestaShop Expert account but their status remains "Pending," you may be wondering how long the approval process takes and what to expect.
How does the URL approval process work?
When an expert declares their URLs on the PrestaShop Expert platform, they are not validated immediately. An automated bot executes at regular intervals to process these requests.
Approval deadline
The approval is not instantaneous. The validation bot operates every six hours to verify and process newly declared URLs. Thus, even if you have correctly associated your URLs, they will remain in "Pending" status until the bot performs its next scheduled check.
What should you do if your URL is still pending?
If your URL remains marked as "Pending" after its declaration, here are some checks to perform:
- Check the declaration time: If it has been less than six hours, the bot may not have processed it yet.
- Wait for the next cycle of the bot: As validation occurs every six hours, your URL should be automatically approved during the next pass of the bot if everything is in order.
