Each annual subscription to the PrestaShop Expert Program includes a valuable benefit: a voucher for the Core Skills Certification exam. This exam validates the fundamental skills of your developers and determines the visibility of your agency in the Expert Directory.

1. Eligibility Conditions
- Each active annual subscription automatically includes 1 Core Skills exam attempt offered per year.
- This attempt is only usable for the Core Skills Certification (mandatory foundation).
- It is reserved for agencies with an active subscription in the Expert Program.

Where can one find their included passage?
- The passage is available in the Certification Core Skills certification tab of the Expert Portal.
- It is visible only to the agency administrator.
- A dedicated button "Use your free exam" allows you to activate it.
How to use the included passage?
- Access the Expert Portal.
- Go to Certification Core Skills certification.
- Click on the button "Use your free exam".
- Select a developer from your team to assign (see: How to assign a certification to a developer?).
- The developer automatically receives an email with their access to the exam platform.
- The developer takes the online exam (duration: 90 minutes, 65–70 questions, multiple choice, immediate result).

4. In the event of success
- The developer receives the Core Skills Certification (individual named badge).
- The agency automatically receives the "PrestaShop Certified Agency" badge if this is its first certified developer.
- The included passage is then considered as used.
5. In case of failure
- The included passage is consumed.
- To retake the exam, you will need to purchase an additional individual passage (€250/developer/exam).
- ⚠️ The included passage is not automatically credited in case of failure.
6. Specific cases
- You can only use 1 included passage per year, linked to your annual subscription.
- The included passage cannot be carried over to the following year: an unused passage is lost.
- To certify multiple developers, you will need to purchase additional passes.
