Badges play a central role: they officially certify the results achieved and determine visibility in the Expert directory. Developer badges
There are three developer badges, corresponding to the three available certifications:
- Core Skills: basic badge, mandatory to activate the agency's visibility in the Expert directory.
- Administrator Skills: advanced badge, validates skills in operations, security, and CI/CD.
- Storefront Skills: advanced badge, validates Front Office skills, performance, and accessibility.
Each developer badge is:
- Personalized and dated (year of acquisition and expiration).
- Verified and tamper-proof (secured with QR code).
- Available in the developer's personal vault (PDF + digital badge).
- Easily shareable on LinkedIn, websites, email signatures, and other social networks.

2. Agency badges.
Agencies benefit from an official badge:
- PrestaShop Certified Agency: automatically awarded as soon as at least 1 active Core Skills certified developer is present in the agency.
- This badge is downloadable from the Expert Portal.
- It enhances credibility and trust with prospects and merchants by highlighting your teams' skills.
- Conditions the visibility in the official PrestaShop Expert directory.
Good to know: the Administrator Skills and Storefront Skills certifications contribute to the agency's scoring (additional points) but do not solely determine the acquisition of the agency badge - the Core Skills certification remains mandatory for activation.

The visibility of your agency in the official PrestaShop Expert directory is directly linked to the badges.
- Automatic activation as soon as at least 1 certified Core Skills developer is active.
- The more certified developers your agency has (of all types), the more scoring points you accumulate, thereby improving your ranking in the directory.
⚠️ Automatic withdrawal of the badge and visibility if:
- No active certified Core Skills developer is present in the agency.
- All associated Core Skills certifications have expired (see: Certification Expiration and Renewal).
4. Monitoring and Updating
Badge management is centralized in the Expert Portal:
- The certification dashboard allows for tracking: the status of developer badges, the activation or deactivation of the agency badge.

What happens if the Core Skills certification of my only certified developer expires?
Your agency automatically loses its badge and visibility in the Expert directory.
May I share my developer badge externally?
Yes, each badge is designed to be public and shareable (social networks, portfolio, email signature).
How long is a badge valid?
All certifications are valid for 24 months. An automatic reminder is sent to you before expiration.
Can a developer obtain multiple badges?
Yes. The same developer can obtain all three badges (Core Skills, Administrator Skills, Storefront Skills) by passing the various examinations. Each badge contributes to the agency's scoring.
