Steps to Join the Expert Program
Here are the steps to follow to join the Expert program and begin accumulating points to earn recognition badges.
1. Submit an Application Form
To begin, you must complete an online application form. This form is accessible via our site prestashop.com, where you will need to provide information about your agency, including:
- Your professional email
- Agency name
- Personal information (name, phone, position in the company)
2. Accept the General Terms of Use (GTU)
By submitting this form, you agree to the terms and conditions of the Experts program. These conditions define the rules and responsibilities of the program members, as well as the benefits you may receive as a partner.
- Please take the time to read the GTU to fully understand the commitments and conditions of the program.
- You will not need to check the acceptance box for the Terms and Conditions, it will be automatic upon submitting your request.
3. Declare your merchant store URLs.
During onboarding, you can declare as many merchant stores as you wish.
At a minimum, 1 merchant store URL is required to validate your entry into the Expert Program.
The declaration of at least one store confirms that you are active in the creation or management of PrestaShop sites and that you support merchants using the platform.
- You may add the URLs of the merchant sites that you manage or have created with PrestaShop.
- There is no maximum limit to the number of stores that can be declared.
- Each added store URL earns you points and helps you progress in the program.
4. Verification and Validation
Once your form has been submitted and your information verified, our team will validate your request. If everything is in order, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that you are now a member of the Expert program and your access to the Expert Portal.
⚠️Manual validationof your account
The validation of Expert accounts is carried out manually by our teams, after reviewing your file.
The validation period is generally between 24 and 72 hours.
Important: please do not create a new request during this period, in order to avoid duplicates and not to slow down the processing of files by our teams.
5. Access the Benefits of the Expert Program.
Once you are accepted into the program, you will begin to accumulate points based on your activities with PrestaShop (adding merchant URLs, purchasing services, certifications, etc.). These points will allow you to obtain Expert Badges, ranging from 1 star to 3 stars depending on your performance.
