Since the launch of the new PrestaShop Expert Certification program, the old training modules available on the previous Expert portal have been deactivated. This development marks the transition to a rigorous and recognized technical certification model, based on individual examinations.
Why has access been suspended?
With the new certification program, the Certified Agency badge is contingent upon the successful completion of the Core Skills Certification by at least one developer from the agency. The previous training modules have therefore been deactivated, and the skills from the old program are no longer recognized in the Expert directory.
Your subscription remains active.
Even though the training sessions have been deactivated, your subscription to the Expert program remains active. Each annual subscription includes one attempt at the Core Skills exam for a developer.

What you can do right now.
- Designate the developer who will use the included exam attempt.
- Log in to the Expert Portal to assign the exam in the Certifications section.
- Once certified in Core Skills, your agency unlocks its badge and visibility in the Expert directory.
Additional certifications are also available to enhance your team's skills and improve your agency's scoring:
- Administrator Skills: operations, security, CI/CD.
- Storefront Skills: Front Office, performance, accessibility.

My company has lost its visibility in the Expert directory. How to retrieve it?
To regain visibility in the directory, at least 1 developer from the agency must pass the Core Skills Certification. Once certified, the agency badge is activated automatically.
Do the training sessions come back in another form?
The certification exams (Core Skills, Administrator Skills, Storefront Skills) replace the old training modules. They provide official and verifiable recognition.
How can one know if a developer is certified?
Each certification awards a personalized badge valid for 24 months, visible in the dashboard of the Expert Portal (Certifications section) and shareable on LinkedIn.
